1. Villa in Livadaka, above Memi Beach
This two-storey house is only around 400 meters from the lovely Memi beach.
We built this house on a 1500 sqm plot. We think the view is spectacular:
We were particularly happy to use "Swedish" roof tiles, a quality product from the Benders factory in northern Greece!
A sleeping loft is a good way to increase space at a very low cost!
When it comes to floor tiles, everyone wants his or her personal style:
And the same goes for the kitchen:
... and the bathrooms:
The house has an interesting and attractive shape, we think:
2. Villa in Peroullia, above Peroullia Beach
This house has a large ground floor and a smaller first floor. This means that the house has an unusually large verandah, partly covered:
BUILDING A HOUSE IN THE MIDDLE OF AN OLIVE GROVE!!
We care a lot about the environment and we always try to keep as much of the original plants and trees as possible. On this plot the challenge was to keep all the olive trees, even the ones that grew half a meter -or less- from the foundation:
Needeless to say, not all workers were pleased... But even though keeping the olives this close to the house was difficult, to say the least (let's be honest about it), but the result was so wonderful that we think it was worth all the extra time and money!!
There are large, extensive closets in all bedrooms:
We are especially happy to have let the customer design the kitchen, even the smallest detail:
We were able to build a specially designed open fireplace, and as a bonus we included an identical second one on the gound floor:
We are very pleased with the work our carpenter has done, like the inner doors:
There is one unusual feature in the house. We have prepared a smooth hole in the concrete slab in order for a spiral staircase to be fitted.
We made a gift of installing a central vacuum cleaning system that the customer had brought with him. In a house with many large concrete beams, this meant a lot of drilling in concrete! Below is the central unit:
The balcony doors and the windows are in three parts, shutters, mosquito net and double glazing...
Picture taken a long time ago. Preparations for wall mounted toilet. Electrical under floor heating in all bathrooms, was provided by the customer. We made the installations as a bonus:
One window was impossible to make sliding, so we provided it with electrical shutters instead:
In our house prices we include invisible cabling for telephone and/or TV. In this case we had the satellite dish mounted and prepared the rooms for reception:
